GROWAREHOUSE DELIVERY POLICY
TEMPORARY TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE DUE TO CORONAVIRUS DISEASE (COVID-19) PANDEMIC & NATIONAL STATE OF DISASTER:
LEVEL 5:
Due to the fact that we are under a nation-wide lockdown we are only able to ship out orders to registered essential service providers. This means you are a registered entity with the CIPC and have been issued an essential services certificate by them. If you are a qualifying essential service provider and wish to place an order please follow the below steps:
• Place your order online and make payment either via EFT or using one of our payment service providers.
• We will request your essential services certificate.
• If your application and order is successful you will receive a notification that your order is being processed.
Please note that in addition to the above mentioned we are only accepting online orders to be shipped to your door. We are also unable to guarantee any delivery nor accurately forecast processing and delivery times as these are unprecedented conditions.
Orders that are placed before or during this period which do not qualify as essential orders, will be processed and shipped at such time that the lockdown restrictions are relaxed to allow so.
We will be working remotely during the lockdown period and we aim to make as many of our typical services available as possible. Our website will be fully operational and we will be working hard to process all essential orders that are placed during this time, our support team will also be available to assist with any technical support as well as our telephonic admin team for relevant queries during this time.
LEVEL 4:
Under level 4 lockdown regulations, we are now able to ship all qualifying products. In order to do so in a safe manner, we are operating with a skeleton staff and are taking strict hygiene precautions in line with the World Health Organisation (WHO) and South African Government guidelines. All orders will be delivered using a contactless delivery system and no collections will be allowed as per our level 5 terms above.
LEVEL 3, LEVEL 2 & LEVEL 1:
Under the lockdown level 1,2,3 status we will continue to promote our contactless delivery system and endeavour to uphold our swift and reliable delivery to your door. We will allow for safe contactless order collections provided the following has been met:
• Your order has been placed online and payment has been made.
• You have received your “ready for collection” notification.
• Your order reference number is presented upon collection.
• You adhere to our collection protocols stipulated at our store.
Please note the above terms supersede our standard delivery options below.
Clause 1 Introduction
1.1 This Delivery Policy (“Delivery Policy”) is only valid for products purchased from GROWarehouse.com.
1.2 This Delivery Policy has been developed to ensure the accurate and secure delivery of all purchases according to the customer’s delivery needs.
1.3 This Delivery Policy forms part of the agreement between GROWarehouse.com and its customers. This Delivery Policy should be read together with the website Terms and Conditions (if applicable).
Clause 2 Delivery Procedure
2.1 Once an order has been received and confirmed, no changes to the specified address and/or delivery option will be accepted, unless specifically acknowledged as being accepted by us.
2.2 After payment has been made and the goods have been shipped, the customer will receive a tracking code, which they can use to track the delivery.
2.3 Orders will be delivered between Business hours on weekdays.
2.4 It is the sole responsibility of the the customer to ensure that someone is available to receive the order once it has reached the delivery address.
2.5 If no one is present at the address when the delivery is attempted, the products will be retained and a new arrangement, at an additional cost, may be made to deliver the order.
2.6 The person receiving the order is required to sign a delivery note as proof that the order has been delivered.
2.7 Before signing the delivery note, the person receiving is required to check the contents of the order received against the delivery note to ensure that the products are not damaged or missing any products.
2.8 Once the person has signed and agreed that the order is correct, undamaged and in good condition, the customer will not have a claim for any incomplete/ missing orders.
Clause 3 Delivery Areas
3.1 We deliver within South Africa and internationally.
3.2 Customers are required to provide their physical address for delivery and contact details before completing their purchase. Products will be delivered to the physical address specified by the customer.
Clause 4 Delivery Fees
4.1 Delivery fees are calculated on checkout, according to the size of the basket and the location of the delivery address.
4.2 Orders within South Africa worth more than R5,000 qualify for free shipping.
4.3 Please note that all international orders that are placed outside of South Africa do not qualify for the above shipping rates. Please kindly use the helpdesk on our Website detailing your exact delivery details and we will get back to you with a price and expected time frame for delivery of your parcel.
Clause 5 Delivery Methods
5.1 Orders will be delivered using a courier(s) of our choice.
Clause 6 Delivery Time Frame
6.1 Without considering or being affected by external factors, local orders within South Africa will be delivered to the customer within 20 business days after the order has been received and confirmed.
6.2 Without considering or being affected by external factors, orders outside of South Africa will take approximately 30 business days to be delivered to the delivery address after the order has been received and confirmed.
Clause 7 Collection
7.1 In certain instances we permit collection of orders from customers, and in such instances no delivery fee will apply.
7.2 Should a customer wish to do this, they are required to specify that during the checkout process.
Clause 8 Disclaimer
8.1 We shall take all reasonable efforts to accurately reflect the products, purchase price and delivery charges of products on the website. However, should there be any errors of whatsoever nature on the website (which are not due to our fault), we shall not be liable to make good on a transaction based on any error, apart from refunding any monies paid by the customer to us.
8.2 We will not be liable if delivery does not occur within the time frame mentioned in this Delivery Policy and cannot be liable for any loss occasioned by the delay in delivery.
